Hello Parents, Teachers, & anyone else that wants to listen!
My name is June (Ms. June to my students), & I am starting this blog to help combine all of my found projects as well as post some of my own that I've created. In December, I was promoted to Lead Preschool teacher in my class & was rewarded with the best assistant I could have wished for. I have 17 three-year-olds currently enrolled in my classroom & they keep me quite busy. I've been trying my best to provide them with age appropriate activities & lessons that they will not only enjoy, but learn from. I have spent countless hours looking through hundreds of links that provide gads of information as well as dozens of books, but not really finding much that was all that helpful.
I have formed a database on my computer, filled my browser bookmark file, written & copied things from books, as well as put together a binder of my own ideas & previous projects. One might think that I've made finding projects an easier task, but it's been more confusing than anything.
This is my attempt to clear my scattered brain, share my findings with others, & to make my life & yours a tad easier.
I am also a fine/ graphic designer in my spare time & will...might be providing the occasional coloring sheet or project of my own.
Since I have been procrastinating on my own lesson plan for next week, I'll be getting to that now & will hopefully be posting something helpful soon.
Thanks to all who stopped!
Ms. June.
